This carpet was knotted by Armenians from the village of Lilihan in the Arak district in western Iran. The carpet is generally thick and colorful, dominated by pink. The pattern often consists of curved floral motifs, but geometric motifs also occur. The wool is of good quality, making the carpet beautiful and worth its price. The Lilihan carpet is part of the Hamadan carpet group.
